2025 Kia Telluride

The 2025 Kia Telluride gets light updates rather than a redesign. The headline change is that the former SX X-Pro is renamed EX X-Pro, placing the X-Pro towing and rough-road package at the EX level.

About the 2025 Kia Telluride

1st generation (2020-2025), third model year after the 2023 refresh, and the last full model year before the all-new second-generation 2027 Telluride.

Kia positions the Telluride as a roomy, upscale-feeling three-row family SUV that mixes rugged styling with everyday usefulness. The core appeal is simple: standard V6 power, strong safety tech, real adult-friendly space, and a cabin that feels more premium than many mainstream rivals. Even before you reach the top trims, the Telluride is meant to feel like a comfortable road-trip and family-hauling SUV first, with X-Line and X-Pro versions adding a more adventure-themed personality.

The 2025 Telluride remains a three-row family SUV with a 291-horsepower V6, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and seating for seven or eight. LX covers the essentials with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, while SX adds dual displays, premium audio, and more advanced driver assistance. X-Pro versions pair standard AWD with extra ground clearance and a 5,500-pound tow rating.

WBWayne B.
2025 Kia Telluride SX AWD

“So far Im enjoying it. My only issue is service department. Was not impressed at all with the handling of a minor issue.”

CJCleon J.
2025 Kia Telluride EX AWD

“The car has the room I wanted and drives well enough. My kids love the extra room and features. The gas mileage is horrendous, lower than what I expected. Within a couple of months (under 2000 miles), the car started making awful grinding noises and I'm struggling to get it fixed even though it is under warranty.”
