About the 2025 Ford F-150

14th generation (2021-present), second year after the 2024 refresh

Ford positions the F-150 as the do-everything full-size pickup: a truck that can work hard, tow big loads, power tools, handle family duty, and scale from basic jobsite trim to luxury or serious off-road use. Its core appeal is breadth. Buyers can get regular-cab work-truck simplicity, hybrid power with onboard electricity, upscale comfort, or Raptor desert-truck performance, all inside one model range built around towing, payload, and everyday usability.

The 2025 lineup runs from the work-focused XL, with dual 12-inch screens and a Class IV trailer hitch, to the more comfortable Lariat and luxury-focused King Ranch and Platinum. Tremor adds trail-focused hardware, while Raptor uses a high-output V6 and long-travel suspension for faster off-road driving. Raptor R is the performance standout with a supercharged 5.2-liter V8, specialized shocks, and Recaro front seats.
