About the 2024 Volvo V90

2nd generation (introduced for 2017), post-2021 mid-cycle update

Volvo positions the V90 Cross Country as a large five-seat luxury wagon for families, road trips, and light travel beyond pavement. Its identity combines a raised, all-weather chassis and standard AWD with a long cargo area, comfortable seating, clean Scandinavian cabin design, and extensive driver assistance. It offers SUV-like confidence and usefulness while retaining a lower, more car-like shape.

The 2024 V90 Cross Country has a 295-hp mild-hybrid engine, an eight-speed automatic transmission, AWD, and a raised touring chassis. The Plus focuses on everyday comfort with leather seats, a panoramic roof, Google-based infotainment, and a 360-degree camera. The higher trim adds ventilated and massaging Nappa leather front seats, a head-up display, and Harman Kardon audio without changing the powertrain.

“They need to know you can't turn off the e feature or lane keep. Park is confusing.”

“It's very long to park and the passenger front corner is hard to tell where it is. I like to be able to stretch out and sleep with the seats down in the back so I'm willing to adjust to the length for parking. My bad back requires lying flat occasionally on long trips. I've had 8 Volvo wagons and compromise is not something I'm willing to do.”

“Great Car Very happy buyerFive StarsBut to be picky:The automatic engine shut off should be able to be disabled.I drive in NYC and it's a big distractionYou should have balance and fade on the stereo?? Crazy- why notThe window washers need improvement Should have adjustable pedals like my previous car - all cars should”
