About the 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLB

1st generation GLB (2020-2026), mid-cycle refresh for 2024

Mercedes-Benz positions the GLB as the small luxury SUV for shoppers who want real usefulness, not just a sleeker shape. Its upright body favors headroom, cargo space, and easy access, while the cabin centers on large screens and modern in-car tech. In the brand’s small-SUV range, the GLB is the practical pick: roomy for its footprint, easier to load than coupe-like rivals, and premium enough to feel like a Mercedes every day.

The GLB 250 remains the practical, front-wheel-drive entry model, with an upright shape, flexible second row, easy cargo access, and a 221-hp turbocharged engine. The GLB 250 4MATIC adds all-wheel drive for extra traction, while both versions have wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, heated power front seats, and the Parking package.

“I love my car but I don't think it was designed for a smaller female to drive. The seats have a handle on the front that sticks out to make your seat longer. My legs hit it all the time and pop it out. Also, the place for your phone is hard to reach and I can't fit large water bottles in the cup holders.”

“The GLB250 is a perfect size for me. I have friends who are anxious to see my GLB but they would want a larger model. It would depend on a person's lifestyle. My friends know how happy I am with my GLB250.”
