Last updated August 4, 2026

2024 Jeep Gladiator

The 2024 Jeep Gladiator gets a major mid-cycle refresh, its biggest update since launch, led by a redesigned dashboard with a standard 12.3-inch touchscreen. It is a substantial update to the existing first-generation truck, not a full redesign.

About the 2024 Jeep Gladiator

1st generation Jeep Gladiator JT (2020-present), major 2024 refresh.

Jeep positions the Gladiator as the only open-air pickup truck in the industry: a midsize truck that blends real bed utility and strong towing with Wrangler-style trail ability. Its identity is less about being the smoothest everyday pickup and more about freedom, adventure, removable roof-and-door fun, and factory 4x4 hardware that is much more serious than most midsize truck rivals. It stands apart by giving owners both pickup usefulness and true Jeep off-road character in one vehicle.

The Sport remains the straightforward open-air 4WD pickup, while the Willys adds more useful trail hardware without stepping up to the specialized models. Mojave is set up for faster driving in dirt and sand, while Rubicon focuses on slower, more difficult trails. New Mojave X and Rubicon X versions add Nappa leather power seats, navigation, premium audio, and a front off-road camera to those two distinct off-road setups.

What changed, by category

A 12.3-inch touchscreen becomes standard across the lineup, along with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Navigation and premium audio move from standard to optional on Mojave and Rubicon, while the new X versions include them.

Willys gains a stronger standard trail package with a rear differential lock, an off-road drive mode, trailer-tow hardware, accessory switches, and LED headlights and fog lights.
