About the 2024 GMC Yukon
5th generation (2021-2024 original design), fourth model year and last year before the 2025 mid-cycle update
GMC positions the Yukon as a full-size, truck-based three-row SUV combining family space, cargo room and towing capability with a more premium cabin than its Chevrolet relatives. The range includes regular-length Yukon and longer Yukon XL models, V8 and turbo-diesel configurations, and distinct practical, off-road and luxury trims. Its main appeal is doing family-hauling, long-distance travel and trailer duty in one large, comfortable vehicle.
The 2024 Yukon ranges from the straightforward SLE, with a 10.2-inch touchscreen and a 12-inch digital instrument display, to more specialized trims. AT4 focuses on off-road use with standard four-wheel drive, a low-range transfer case and a front skid plate. Denali emphasizes leather, real wood and premium audio, while the top trim adds massaging front seats and four-corner air suspension.

2024 GMC Yukon Reviews
What owners are saying about the 2024 GMC Yukon.
“The biggest issue I have with the new car is the interior scratches and gouges very easily. Much more than my 2018 Yukon XL.”
“Love it but I would not pay extra for the rear entertainment system. Very difficult to connect and control. Should be able to airplay to the screens but you cannot. So you need a device to connect to the hdmi and then connect that device to the WiFi. It would be easier and cheaper to just get two tablets and hang them on the seats. They would also be removable the OEM screens are not.”
