4th generation Outlander (2022-present); 2023 is the gas model’s second year and the first U.S. model year for the redesigned Outlander Plug-in Hybrid on this body.
The Outlander is Mitsubishi’s flagship compact SUV, aimed at shoppers who want standout styling, a nicer cabin than they might expect from the brand, and the flexibility of a small third row. Mitsubishi sells it as a family-ready SUV with a long warranty, confident all-wheel-drive capability, and a more upscale feel than the brand’s older products.
