2nd generation Countryman (F60, 2017-2024), late-cycle year after the 2021 refresh and the last full model year before the all-new 2025 redesign.
MINI positions the Countryman as the biggest and most versatile model in the brand’s lineup. It is meant to keep the brand’s playful handling and distinctive design while adding real small-SUV usefulness: four doors, seating for five, flexible cargo space, and available or standard ALL4 all-wheel drive depending on trim. For most buyers, the Countryman is the MINI that balances style and fun with everyday family, commuting, and weekend-trip practicality.
Classic trims keep the Countryman straightforward, with features such as an 8.8-inch screen, a panoramic moonroof, and either front-wheel drive or AWD. Better-equipped Cooper and Cooper S versions add comforts such as heated front seats and a power liftgate, while the Cooper SE ALL4 uses a plug-in hybrid powertrain. The performance-focused John Cooper Works ALL4 pairs a 301-hp turbocharged engine with AWD and a sport suspension.
