About the 2023 Chevrolet Bolt

Refreshed Bolt EV (introduced for 2022) and first-generation Bolt EUV (introduced for 2022); 2023 is the final model year for both before production ended.

The Bolt family is Chevrolet’s practical, budget-minded EV line. The focus is everyday usability: compact outside size, useful real-world electric range, simple charging, hatchback flexibility, and familiar touchscreen tech instead of luxury or performance drama. Within that formula, the Bolt EV is the smaller city-friendly hatchback, while the Bolt EUV adds a longer wheelbase, more rear-seat room, and a more crossover-like shape for shoppers who want extra space without moving up to a much larger EV.

The Bolt EV is the smaller hatchback, with a 259-mile EPA range and a 10.2-inch touchscreen; its 2LT trim adds leather seating, heated front seats, and a surround-view camera. The roomier Bolt EUV has more rear-seat space and a 247-mile EPA range, while the Premier trim adds heated and ventilated leather front seats, adaptive cruise control, and extra camera views.

“My 2023 Chevy Bolt LT is a cute, extremely practical, fun little car to own and drive. I mostly love it. The only things I could be happier about is the range and the charging speed, but I was aware of these things and still chose to buy the car. If I had it to do over, I'd purchase this car again.”

“I had heard a lot of nice things about my car from friends. I was able to test drive one that a friend owns and liked the way it drove. I have always wanted an EV. I love not having so much maintenance on this car and not having to buy gas. It looks cool... sounds cool... and I call it my little space ship!”
