Nissan positioned the Titan XD between a conventional full-size pickup and a heavy-duty truck. Its single Crew Cab, 6.5-foot bed, V8, automatic transmission, and 4WD configuration simplified the range while supplying extra towing and hauling capability over the regular Titan.
