2022 Maserati Levante

The biggest change for the 2022 Maserati Levante is a reorganized four-trim lineup: GT, Modena, Modena S, and Trofeo. This is a light late-cycle update rather than a redesign, with refreshed Maserati badges and logos but no overhaul of the engines, AWD system, transmission, or chassis.

About the 2022 Maserati Levante

First generation (2017-2024), late-cycle trim-line reorganization rather than a redesign

Maserati presents the Levante as “the Maserati of SUVs”: a five-seat luxury SUV shaped and tuned more like an Italian grand-touring car. Its identity centers on expressive styling, distinctive engine sound, standard AWD, adjustable air suspension, and long-distance comfort, while retaining useful ride-height adjustment and all-weather ability. It stands apart from more practical rivals through driving character, design, and a less common road presence.

The GT focuses on comfort with a 345-hp V6, air suspension, heated leather seats, a panoramic roof, and an 8.4-inch touchscreen. Modena raises V6 output to 424 hp, while Modena S brings a 550-hp V8 and more driver-assistance equipment. Trofeo is the performance-focused version, with a twin-turbo V8, launch control, carbon-fiber details, ventilated natural-leather seats, and a 17-speaker audio system.

“Very well designed SUV with a stable handling which is better than Cayenne; Less rolling and well balanced tracking at curves.”

“Do not buy this vehicle- waste of time and money and will have issue after issue. This vehicle does not hold any resale value and is a money pit. I wish I would have listened to all my friends and have not purchased a Maserati. Buy a Porsche, Audi, or a BMW. (P.S.- this car has the worst cupholder design I've ever seen in a car- they don't hold any normal size bottle in place, they fall out while driving.)”
