About the 2022 Lexus RX

4th generation RX/RX L (2016-2022), after the 2020 refresh; 2022 is the final model year before the all-new 5th-generation 2023 RX.

Lexus positions the 2022 RX as a comfort-first luxury crossover for everyday life. Its core appeal is a quiet cabin, smooth ride, premium materials, easy-to-use touchscreen tech, and strong standard safety coverage, with buyers able to choose a regular two-row model, a hybrid, or the longer RX L body. The RX 350 is the comfort-focused two-row core, with a 295-hp V6, smartphone integration, and standard driver-assist features. F SPORT Handling models keep the same gas or hybrid output but add an adaptive suspension and sport-tuned steering, while the RX 450h pairs a 308-hp V6 hybrid system with standard AWD. The longer RX L models add a power-folding third row, and the RX 450hL has second-row captain’s chairs.
