About the 2021 Chevrolet Camaro

6th generation (2016-2024), late-cycle year after the 2020 styling update.

Chevrolet positions the Camaro as a driver-focused American sports coupe or convertible that puts handling and power first. The lineup starts with a turbo four-cylinder and climbs to a supercharged V8, but the common thread is a low, tight, rear-drive chassis that feels more like a serious sports car than a straight-line cruiser. Compared with rivals, Camaro leans hardest on sharp handling, track-ready packages, and a broad spread of performance levels.

The 2021 Camaro ranges from the simpler turbocharged LS and flexible LT to V8-focused performance models. The LT1 delivers a 455-hp V8 with fewer extras, while the SS adds stronger brakes and more serious performance hardware. At the top, the 650-hp supercharged ZL1 combines track-focused equipment with features such as adjustable suspension and RECARO front seats.

“they should buy it. It is an amazing car. I love it. I would maybe let them drive my car if they know how to drive a manual car.”

“This is a fun car. The outward visibility is limited for shorter people, even with the height adjustment. Other than that, it is a blast. Plus it can fit 4 people. With the top UP, the trunk is rather roomy. With the top DOWN, there is still room for a couple duffle bags or a few bags of groceries. This is a practical vehicle for all climates, except heavy snow/rain.”

“Camaro 2021 SS is everything that we want and more. The power, speed, control, and styling sets it apart from its competitors.”
