About the 2021 Cadillac XT4

First generation (2019-2023), third model year, before the larger 2024 update.

Cadillac positions the XT4 as a compact luxury SUV that mixes bold styling with everyday usefulness. The brand leans on its sharp lighting, upscale cabin design, easy-to-use infotainment, and unusually roomy second row to stand out in a crowded small-SUV field. For most shoppers, the XT4’s appeal is getting Cadillac style and comfort in a city-friendly size that still works well for passengers, cargo, commuting, and weekend trips.

The 2021 XT4 Luxury is the straightforward entry model, with an 8-inch touchscreen, a power liftgate, and key collision-alert features. Premium Luxury adds leather seating, more parking and blind-spot aids, and a hands-free liftgate, while Sport focuses on a darker appearance and sport-themed cabin details rather than extra power.

“I loved everything about this vehicle but it was more important to me that my wife felt the same way and she does.”

JLJerry L.

“Don't buy it. Not enough comfort or features, audio sucks, noise is terrible, drives like a dog, doors and trunk are hard to open. Get one with better features and don't assume just because it's a Cadillac that it comes with them. My Buick Encore had more features than this thing. Bad design here!”

“Easy to drive and the safety features are excellent. I recommend the car to all of my Senior friends.”
