About the 2021 Audi RS 6

4th-generation RS 6 (C8), first U.S. model year and first U.S.-market Avant.

Audi positions the RS 6 as a rare do-everything performance wagon: huge twin-turbo V8 power and serious RS chassis hardware wrapped in a five-passenger wagon with luxury-car comfort and usable cargo space. Its appeal is not only speed, but the way it mixes everyday road-trip and family practicality with the kind of acceleration, grip, and visual drama buyers usually expect from a dedicated performance car.

Audi positioned the sole Avant trim as a high-performance wagon with genuine space for people and cargo. Its signature equipment includes a 591-hp twin-turbo V8, adaptive air suspension, dual touchscreens with navigation, and heated and ventilated leather sport seats.

“Great all around car. Better styling than other high-end wagons. I use Android but Audi prefers Apple. Even with my phone plugged in, the car will grab an Apple phone over the Android even with the iPhone outside the car. That is a bit frustrating. Other than YouTube, I have not seen another one on the road. Car enthusiasts comment on it all the time, everyone else thinks it is just a station wagon.”
