About the 2021 Audi e-tron

1st generation (2019-2023 before the Q8 e-tron rename), third model year, early-cycle update with a new base trim and battery/range improvements.

Audi positioned the e-tron as an everyday luxury SUV first and an EV second. Audi’s own messaging focuses on Audi DNA, roomy family-friendly packaging, quiet comfort, fast charging, and standard quattro all-wheel drive rather than futuristic styling. For most shoppers, the appeal is familiar Audi craftsmanship and SUV usefulness with smooth electric power, making it a strong fit for buyers who want a polished premium EV that feels easy to live with.

The 2021 e-tron is a quiet, comfort-focused electric luxury SUV with dual-motor AWD, air suspension, a digital instrument display, and a 10.1-inch touchscreen. Premium Plus emphasizes everyday convenience with a second charging port, a 360-degree camera, and upgraded driver-assistance features, while Prestige adds luxuries such as massaging front seats, a head-up display, and quieter side glass.

“Do it! Best Electric Vehicle on the market. Environmentally friendly, superb interior and exterior style, rides smooth, great features.”

“The sportback shape is one of the most striking feature of the car. More fashionable than the SUV shape.”

JRJuan R.
2021 Audi e-tron Quattro

“Great for in town driving. Not great for long road trips as you would have to recharge for minimum of a couple of hours at a quick capacity charging unit (assuming you find those along your route). Who ever creates the electric vehicle that can get a quick recharge at same rate as gas vehicles do AND a longer drive per charge will be top of the market.”
