Current BMW-era Hardtop generation (F56 2 Door / F55 4 Door); 2020 is the second year after the 2019 update rather than a full redesign year.

Active Driving Assistant becomes standard across the lineup. It includes forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking on the gas models.

Fog lights become standard on the Cooper. Alloy wheels move from standard to optional on the John Cooper Works.
