It is a dream to drive. It is dependable. The interior has wonderful features that make your journey enjoyable.

A great car but includes a lot of technology you pay for that I don't need/use and in some case, is actually dangerous.

Great sports car with enhanced luxury

Beautiful but expensive car, best, most comfortable sports car I have ever owned but falls short for the money - many less expensive cars have many more upgraded features! Even my 14 yr. old Jeep had a driver seat that automatically moved back or forward with shutting the engine off or turning it on... but the worst problem is the BLIND SPOTS - especially caused by the rear view mirror. I have wanted this car since I was old enough to drive, and while it is beautiful to look at and comfortable to drive, the short comings are very disappointing.

Absolutely I would recommend this car.

The SL 550 convertible is a significantly expensive quality vehicle. I recently found out that I had inferior technology in this car. I pay for Sirius Satellite radio that recently added stations than cannot be attained in my 2020 SL550. My friend has a 2019 Mercedes model that does access these channels. I found out that because Mercedes does not plan on continuing the SL550, they left an older technology radio in the vehicle that was sold new in 2020. My 2019 Jeep can access the new Sirius channels, as well as my wife's BMW 7 series. I am furious that I paid quite a bit of money for the SL 550 and it has older technology by manufacturer's choice. Newer technology radios were available, they sold newer models with old radios.

If you want a luxurious grand touring automobile with a retractable roof, great looks and excellent performance, buy a 2017-2020 SL before they are gone. They're not making them anymore.
