Hyundai positioned the Venue as a city-friendly small SUV for shoppers who wanted easy parking, upright seating, useful cargo room, and more tech and safety than a basic small car. Its core appeal was simple: hatchback-like efficiency and size, but with SUV styling, easier entry and exit, and a surprisingly complete feature set for the money. In Hyundai’s lineup, it served as the entry point to the brand’s SUV range rather than a rugged off-road model.
The Venue is a small, city-friendly crossover offered in SE, SEL, and Denim trims. The SE covers the basics with an 8-inch touchscreen and active safety features, while the SEL adds conveniences such as automatic climate control and Snow mode. The distinctive Denim trim brings navigation, heated front seats, LED lighting, and upgraded cloth and synthetic leather seating.
