About the 2020 Ford Mustang

6th generation Mustang (2015-2023), third year after the 2018 update.

Ford sells the Mustang as an everyday sports car with a wide personality range: turbo four or V8, coupe or convertible, comfortable cruiser or track-focused Shelby. The core appeal is classic rear-drive Mustang feel, strong straight-line performance, and a shape people instantly recognize, without giving up basic practicality like four seats, a usable trunk, and modern phone-friendly infotainment on the better-equipped trims.

The 2020 range stretches from the everyday-focused 310-hp EcoBoost to the core 460-hp GT V8. Bullitt offers a subtler, manual-only 480-hp V8 package, while the GT350 and GT350R put a sharper focus on track driving. At the top, the new GT500 combines a 760-hp supercharged V8 with a quick-shifting seven-speed dual-clutch automatic, adaptive suspension and large Brembo brakes.

“The tires and rims that come as an option are great! The color and the top comes down pretty fast. And the hood is beastly”
