About the 2020 Ford F-350

3rd generation Super Duty (2017-2022), mid-cycle refresh year.

Ford positions the F-350 as a heavy-duty pickup for people who tow and haul for a living or for serious recreation. Its core appeal is capability first: high tow and payload capacity, multiple cab and bed layouts, and factory trailer tech that makes big loads easier to manage. What sets it apart is how wide the model range is, from a simple jobsite truck to a fully trimmed luxury pickup, while keeping towing and work ability at the center.

The 2020 F-350 ranges from the easy-clean XL work truck to the diesel-powered Limited luxury trim. XLT brings an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and added driver-assistance features, while King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited layer in leather cabins, trailering cameras, and more comfort technology.

“If you are pulling a big RV, boat or trailer then the F-350 is the serious choice. When I tow 11,400lbs while carrying about 2,000lbs in the bed, this truck sets me back into the seat when I hit resume on the cruise control.”

“The truck is a pleasure to drive. The major issue I have with it is that limited slip is not available, even after market limited slip is not available. The E-locking differential is available, but that doesn't work well at all when one has to make sharp turns.”
