I'd be sure to double check the interior storage areas. I don't need too many cupholders, but what is important to me is a place to put my wallet, phone, keys and a few other personal items that I generally take with me when I drive, including 2 pairs of glasses and a firearm. This car has less storage space than the 2016 5-series I had, and I really didn't do my homework before buying the 2020 5-series and felt a little cheated that the interior storage is less accommodating for my needs. Secondly, be sure that your upper body fits into the drivers seat. I'm finding that the base of the seat is too narrow for my back. I'm not an especially big person, but find that the support on my lower back at the base of my spine is lacking, even after adjusting the seats. This also is a change from 2016.

If you are looking for safety there is no better vehicle than a BMW. That is a fact.

Very comfortable drive and the electric drive feature is much better than buying gas. We are nearing 2,000 miles and only bought one tank of gas since November.
