About the 2019 Tesla Model 3

1st generation Model 3 (launched for 2017), early-production expansion year; 2019 was not a redesign, but it was the key year Tesla widened the range with lower-cost trims and lineup reshuffling.

Tesla positions the Model 3 as a smaller, more attainable sports electric sedan rather than a traditional entry luxury car. Its core appeal is long electric range, quick acceleration, a minimalist cabin centered around a large touchscreen, regular software updates, and access to Tesla’s Supercharger network. Against rivals, the Model 3 stands out less for plush trim and more for EV efficiency, real-world charging convenience, and the feeling that the car’s features can improve over time.

The new Standard Range and Standard Range Plus trims focused on everyday usability, with 220 and 240 miles of EPA-rated range when new. Long Range emphasized road-trip range and premium cabin features, while Performance paired dual-motor all-wheel drive with larger brakes, a lowered suspension, and a carbon-fiber rear spoiler.

“I love my vehicles performance, comfort, and simplicity. It is cutting edge but basic on the inside. It is upgradeable and customizable. It's fun to drive.”

“Love my vehicle, learning to drive it is a learning curve. The vehicle is quite safe but you will need time to get use to the self drive mode in the car. Back seat has limited space and sometimes the Dashboard tech glitches when care is left in sun, but the cars app will notify you when the cars interior is to hot so it can be fixed.”
