2019 Mercedes-Benz G-Class

The only thing that took me by surprise was how low the gas mileage is. Other than that, the car is spectacular.

This is not an economy vehicle! It is an expensive powerful vehicle with an excellent reliability factor and strong resale value.

Solid vehicle, no substitute.

If you can afford it, get it. I've owned over a dozen vehicles from a Ford Explorer to a Porsche 911 Turbo. The new G63 is the most complete, do it all vehicle I've ever owned. If I could afford it, I would have one more here at our primary residence and one at our CO residence. I don't say this lightly. I've been exceptionally impressed by what this vehicle can do. My only complaint, and this comes from my wife, is you need to add touchless locking/unlocking to the doors. That is standard on any modern luxury car. Do not get rid of the fantastic locking mechanism and bank vault "thunk" when closing, but figure out how to get a small button on the handles to allow for the key to stay in your pocket. Aside from that, zero negatives after the first 2k miles.
