Improved ride and handling characteristics especially AFTER recall replacing steering damper. Overall on and off road capabilities and low cost of operating with a good resale value.

Once you own a Jeep you will always own one. I bought my first Jeep in 1992. They are the perfect vehicle for around Town and in the Woods. If you do some traveling get a Grand Cherokee.

the undercarriage skid plates are inferior. The electronic shut off of the vehicle at idle can be a little annoying at times.

Great SUV for long commute, especially in bad weather with ground clearance and 4WD. Crucial feature for New England winters. Great handling and braking, tight suspension. Like that I sit up a bit high off ground. Sound system nice for commute. Not a lot of storage space if you do a big shop for groceries, plants etc. Some advance planning helpful for this. Overall very satisfied so far.
