It has a number of great safety features and is fun to drive. My wife enjoys driving it on winding back roads of our county. One feature strangely missing from it is its own onboard navigation system. You can use the one on your phone to interface with the sound system.

Visibility in the Veloster is not best suited for a shorter driver.

Suspension and handling are awesome adequate power but would like a little more. RSpec is great for the value because it can easily be upgraded.

The Veloster N is the most fun you can have for under $30,000. As a city driver, the size of the car is perfect. It feels small (nimble, maneuverable) but has a lot of usable space. I love the asymmetric design because it makes for a more comfortable driver's side with a long door and great visibility. If you regularly have two back seat passengers, it won't be ideal for you to just have one back door, but it will be more practical than sport coupes that have no back door. The cargo area is 20 CF and will swallow a lot. The N Custom mode allows you to set all of your favorite driver settings. The audio system sounds good enough that you won't need to modify it unless you're a major audiophile. If you enjoy driving modified vehicles, the N needs nothing out of the box to give all the right feedback and sounds to the driver. The valved exhaust is hilarious and sounds great wide open. If you get tired of the popcorn, you can dial it back. Cannot think of a better way to spend $30k on a new vehicle. Test drove a Miata RF GT-S before this and it was more expensive, more cramped, and less fun to drive.
