I've always been an M car enthusiast, but struggled with BMW styling and direction in terms of vehicle size and performance orientation. Price point is also an important factor. I would recommend this car to anyone who is struggling to figure out which car delivers this level of performance, feeling of exclusivity, at a 'reasonable' price point. While most BMW M cars seem to be getting bigger and bigger, I feel like I'm now able to get a more modern e46 M car.

I believe the BMW M2 is the best performance car value on the market today. Nothing else offers this level of performance and refinement for the price. It's the best option with a manual transmission as well.
