I would tell them that this is a true sports sedan and, as a result, the ride is as smooth your typical luxury vehicle. I would also tell them that it takes some time to get used to all the new technology. However, the power Is awesome, as is the handling and brakes.Overall, I would rate the vehicle a 9.5 on a scale of 1 to 10. There are some foolish engineering errors, but you find that in any vehicle.

The 530e is an amazing piece of engineering. I love almost every aspect of it, especially the forward-thinking hybrid drivetrain and all the available tech (eg. the large HUD, Active Driving Assistant, BMW iDrive, etc). My only two criticisms are that I wish the electric range were double what it is now, and also that the glitchiness of the iDrive system has increased between my 2016 4 series and the 530e. It seems like there is a decline in the company's software quality. 99% of the time it's fine, but there are weird issues that bother me enough to mention, such as the iDrive system randomly defaulting to all radio stations rather than your presets. Aside from that, I would recommend the 530e to anyone who wants a fuel-efficient hybrid with top-notch styling and technology.

The acceleration makes everything worth it. I cannot believe I there is not ANY spare tire for this vehicle. That really upsets me.
