2018 Nissan Titan XD

About the 2018 Nissan Titan XD

2nd-generation Titan XD (2016-2019 pre-refresh), third model year before the 2020 update.

Nissan positioned the Titan XD as the tougher step up from the regular Titan: a full-size pickup with a larger reinforced frame and commercial-grade hardware for heavier towing and hauling. The core pitch was extra strength without giving up everyday comfort. Compared with a true heavy-duty truck, the Titan XD was meant to feel easier to live with day to day, while still offering serious payload, towing capability, available diesel torque, and a more polished cabin than a stripped-down work truck.

The Titan XD remained the heavier-duty member of Nissan's truck family, positioned between a regular half-ton pickup and a traditional heavy-duty truck. PRO-4X added standard four-wheel drive, off-road shocks, and skid plates, while SL brought leather and navigation and Platinum Reserve topped the range with a premium cabin and an around-view camera system.

“Dont do it. Interior navigation is rudimentary and quality is terrible. Already traded the vehicle in with 700 miles for a 2019 Ram 1500.”

“Overall the truck is great. The only thing I would say on the negative side is I feel like the navigation and just entertainment console itself is dated for the year. Can only connect one Bluetooth device at a time and the navigation is clunky; phone works much better.”
