2018 Jaguar XE 20d R-Sport AWD
There's no doubt in my mind that the XE is the best-looking compact (luxury/sports) sedan available today. The "Loire" (navy) blue exterior is better than I expected. Just about everyone I talk with about my car is impressed by the look. I wouldn't have gotten this car if a diesel option wasn't available. I wanted to get a plug-in or electric vehicle, but my current living situation would make charging it particularly difficult. So, in my opinion, diesel was the next best option. I would recommend getting as many of the (functional) options as possible so that you don't miss out on something that you can't (readily) add later. For example, I got the all-wheel drive, climate options, and safety options. After owning the vehicle for a couple of months, I'm glad that I purchased it.

The Jag 2018 XE 25t is a brilliant compact luxury car. The one thing is missing is a model with PROPER manual transmission, not flappy paddles! Also, the touchscreen entertainment system is a tad disappointing. Apart from that, it is a gorgeous-looking fantastic-fun car.

It's a great vehicle, make sure that it comes with a backup camera as visibility is limited for parking a reversing. Otherwise it's perfectly smooth for rough road driving, but has amazing performance and handling when you need it.
