Styling
The redesigned exterior has a cleaner front end, hidden sliding-door tracks, and a more modern rear design. Fog lights become standard on EX and EX-L, and alloy wheels become standard on LX.
Safety
Driver and front-passenger knee airbags are added. Honda's driver-assistance suite becomes standard on EX and higher trims, bringing automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, and road-departure mitigation.
Tech
EX and higher trims gain an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with Magic Slide second-row seats. Upper trims add family tools such as CabinTalk, which lets front occupants speak through the rear speakers, and CabinWatch, which provides a camera view of the rear seats. Remote start becomes standard on EX, EX-L, and Touring.
Structural
An all-new body, chassis, and cabin make this the first fifth-generation Odyssey. The structure is more rigid and lighter, with added measures to reduce cabin noise.
