2017 Mercedes GLS450 4Matic
Check out all other vehicles interactive displays. This car does not have touch screen or blue tooth apple play(but me son's $30,000 FORD Focus ST does) Not as good as FORD Sync, check into Audi nav system. The new BMW and even my 2012 was more technological advanced in some areas. The cameras only come on in reverse so you have to stop the car, put in reverse and then back into drive to be able to see in front of you and your side clearance. Big mistake, that should have been a button to turn on your cameras. Ride and acceleration are very good. Does not have the pick up like the twin turbo BMW but still really gets on the freeway when needed. Handles the mountain curves very well, road handling is nice. Nav system should be head up display for the money you pay. No excuse not to be. Phone book/recent calls/received calls is difficult to navigate through. BMW 2012 was way ahead. Not sure is Mercedes had their engineering head in the sand or not. The cargo space is great, with third row down, the leg space for passengers in the rear is short. Moon roof good waste of money and will need to be tinted with black out to be able to drive in Arizona heat because the cover is a fabric verses a solid roof like in previous models.

GLS 450 is designed to keep your family safe in case of an accident. Vehicle is aggressive because of its mass that keeps occupant safe in association with all state-of-the-art safety features from Mercedes-Benz. Mercedes-Benz is conducting research to keep us safe for last 100 years that translates to 1 year for each milliseconds in a 100 millisecond crash. Good safety ratings with reliable good prestigious Brand. Good looks and styling are important factors.

Like the handling of the car wish it was higher off ground like a Escalade and wish the engine was louder.
