the M2 is what BMW should be....like the 2002 and the original M3 's a 2 door high performance vehicle that you want to take to the track...the limited availability helps...

Hands down this is the best performance car for the money I've ever had. Great balance, awesome acceleration and handling, and a killer exhaust note.

The M2 is a car for those who love driving, love acceleration, braking and handling and are not bothered by sound and some vibration.

2017 BMW M2 Coupe
The M2 is an amazing vehicle with great design, amazing tactile feedback with handling second to none. The sound it makes is enjoyable as it automatically blips the throttle on downshifts. I've owned many M cars, and this one has the best value for the money. Even though it has some compromises, they are all in places that don't matter. I get compliments on it all the time. Build quality is very good, with a very handsome interior. Despite it's small size, I was able to take a family of four very comfortably on two separate road trips with 4 suitcases (2 26" and 2 20"). The only thing I would improve would be the display's auto back light comes on a little late, so it is difficult to see at dusk. I would prefer it to stay on all the time. Other than that, the M3/M4 + you can configure custom driving modes, but on the M2, they are all pre-configured. I believe that is likely a compromise on the cost. All in all, I love the car, and am so happy with the purchase.
