About the 2017 Acura NSX

2nd generation (2017-2022), first model year and full redesign/reintroduction.

Acura positions the NSX as a high-tech supercar that blends exotic-car speed with day-to-day usability. The brand’s message centers on precision, confidence, and advanced engineering rather than raw drama alone, using hybrid power, all-wheel-drive traction, and predictable handling as the main selling points. Its big differentiator is that it delivers supercar performance through electric-assisted torque and chassis technology, while still offering comfort, visibility, and a cockpit meant to support regular road use.

Acura positioned the 2017 NSX as a supercar that balances serious performance with everyday comfort. Its single main trim has active dampers, Brembo brakes, four drive modes, LED headlights, and a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

“Do it! Truly an awesome car to drive. It's the most yin-and-yang car I have ever owned. In Sport or Quiet mode, it's like driving a Civic. Put it in Sport+ or Track mode, and the beast comes out and it gets loud and much more fun. It's daily drivable yet provides world-class performance. Find me another supercar that does that!”
