2016 smart fortwo

I love driving my Smart car - it is fun and quirky. The acceleration may not be the fastest experience in a car but it does the trick and feels quick and easy when you are in something so small. It doesn't feel small on the inside and several passengers have commented on how surprised they were to see the roominess of the interior. I kind of miss having the ignition in the middle of the seats because it was unique but it is more normal on the steering column; the availability of opening the hatch with a button instead of just the FOB was a great change and the car just generally drives more smoothly than my past model.

The Smart is great vehicle. Do not believe the poor reviewers who claim it is an urban vehicle ONLY. It is great on the highway.

It's cute and provides the overall least expensive, and most environmentally, automobile alternative (according to Consumer Reports).

It needs larger cup holders. Only cans and certain cups will fit. It also needs easier access to check the oil. You should be able to lock the doors when you get out without always using the key fob.

I am a SmartCar return customer... That says it ALL!

It has the quality to be useful, economical, and sporty.

It's a great car for getting back and forth to work or across town on errands. I rarely have to fill it up with gas, and when I do, I spend less than $15. It's comfortable and has more room than you'd think. Even my mom, who is claustrophobic, will ride with me!

This is a great commuter car, fun to drive, easy to maneuver, not the best car for very long trips or heavy, high-speed freeway driving (all of which seems obvious, but Consumer Reports seemed surprised and upset, for some reason, that this tiny car isn't as powerful or quiet as a big luxury car -- duh).

Great on gas, small, Bluetooth compatible, surprisingly quick, does not shift gears rough (previous models had a very rough shift between gears)

1. The drive is much better than the earlier smart fortwo.2. The mileage is better than rated.3. There is room for both economy and speed when speed is necessary.4. It is a very dependable car.5. I believe I received a fair price and great value. 6. This car is really very fine in the snow and ice.
