2016 Honda Pilot EX-L 2WD
We started looking for a new vehicle in late 2014 thinking about a 2015 Pilot... my wife developed cancer & treatment began so we thought we would put buying on hold for a while. I too have cancer that is now not very treatable but my wife's condition was the factor for delaying the new vehicle. We then saw a write up & picture on the 2016 Pilot & we knew that's what we wanted. The body style changes were outstanding! The rest is history including my wife recovering very nicely.

2016 Honda Pilot Elite 4WD
Since New IteratIon of PIlot..thIs vehicle has a lot of sensors and electronIcs onboard... honda is usually very reliable...i own 2014 accord touring and first 2006 Ridgeline with nav...i worry more about the electronics and sensors holding up until adverse conditions....i.e hot sun high heat....cold and snow .. below zero weather...i intend to find out this year... as the accord and ridgeline go on trickle charger in garage the pilot stays outside in snow and cold. i had a slight problem with this new vehicle...i believe that it originated at the factory... which makes me sad... quality control problems? Are we heading to another meltdown like the BIG 3 ?

I would prefer not to have the close up mirror on the driver's mirror, it can be misleading. I prefer to turn my mirrors out to eliminate the blind spot. We have a piece coming off on top of the car above the driver's side windshield. It is black and the front is suppose to be under the rubber edging which also encloses the windshield. I will take it back when I can to see if anything can be done. Otherwise it appears it could be blown off.

2016 Honda Pilot EX-L 2WD
I like my new Honda Pilot 2WD. The road noise is still an issue with this vehicle. Not as smooth as I would like, but the roads in Louisiana are not the best either. Wish I could have gotten white with grey interior. It averages 28 miles per gallon on the Highway, which I drive 55 miles a day to work and then 55 miles back home. This is good! Ask me this question in 6 months.

Love the vehicle and body style. My previous Pilots had the capability of raising the rear window as well as the tailgate. When it comes to hauling things, I wish they had left it like that.

I would have bought the elite version of an option to have 2nd row bench seating was available versus captains chairs.

Love the new Honda Pilot. I would say that I am not quite impressed with the shifting of the car though.

Paddle shifters are in a bad location. Accidentally hitting the paddles while driving has happened more than once.
