About the 2016 Honda Fit

3rd generation (2015-2020), second model year before the later mid-cycle refresh.

Honda positioned the Fit as a small hatchback with unusually big usefulness. The core pitch was simple: easy to park, efficient to drive, yet roomy enough inside for people and awkward cargo thanks to the flexible Magic Seat rear seating. Compared with other subcompact hatchbacks, the Fit’s big differentiators were interior space efficiency, clever cargo versatility, good outward visibility, and Honda’s reputation for everyday dependability.

The LX is the practical starting point, with the flexible second-row Magic Seat, a rearview camera, Bluetooth, and a 5-inch audio display. The EX adds a 7-inch touchscreen, moonroof, keyless entry and start, and a passenger-side LaneWatch camera, while the EX-L adds leather, heated front seats, and heated mirrors.

“Consider the keyless entry - It is one feature that would be handy, particularly when carrying lots of cargo to/from the vehicle as I utilize the hatchback's cargo space.”

DBDavid B.
2016 Honda Fit LX

“I love my Honda Fit, everything about it just....fits. It gets amazing gas mileage in the city, and is super fun to take out on weekend adventures. It's an incredibly comfortable car to drive and ride passenger in. Finding a parking spot has never been so easy. I would definitely recommend this car if you are looking for something that is reliable, trustworthy, and fuel-efficient.”
