About the 2016 Chrysler Town & Country

5th generation (2008-2016), final model year before the all-new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica replaced it.

Chrysler positioned the Town & Country as the more upscale, comfort-focused version of its minivan formula: a family hauler that mixed premium touches with real everyday usefulness. The brochure leans on versatility, easy road-trip comfort, and family convenience, especially Stow 'n Go seating, storage flexibility, power side doors, and entertainment features. Compared with many rivals, its identity was less about sportiness or fuel economy and more about giving families a practical minivan with a more dressed-up cabin and easier long-trip living.

The 2016 Town & Country ranges from the value-focused LX, which still has leather-trimmed seats, power sliding doors, and fold-flat Stow 'n Go seating, to the luxury-focused Limited Platinum with navigation, premium audio, and dual-screen Blu-ray entertainment. The S adds a darker sport-styled appearance, while Touring-L emphasizes a more polished cabin and extra driver-assist features. The Anniversary Edition builds on Touring-L with a sunroof, heated seating, and added everyday conveniences.

“A solid family vehicle with comforts and interior design good for families, long trips, transporting groups. Weak in terms of pickup / passing.”

DNDonna N.
2016 Chrysler Town & Country Touring

“The vehicle rides smooth and I haven't had any issues at all. Gas mileage is great and the interior is the most comfortable as any vehicle I have ever been in. If you need to remove the seats at any time, these are the best as they fold inside and the process is so quick and easy, really worth it. Even the windows in the sliding side doors roll down. A luxurious vehicle with advanced features for a great price.”
