2016 BMW Z4

Overall, the Z4 is a great car. Fun to drive, sure-footed, exciting. People tell me I look good in it, and that it suits me. I like that! Some say it looks good with me in it - and I like that, too!

A lot of blind spots. Would be nice to have an indication warning on the mirrors to tell me when something is next to me in the blind spots. Cadillacs have this feature. Also, if there is technology to automatically adjust your outside mirrors and the interior mirror to the driver when they first sit, instead of having to manually adjust when someone else drives it. Would make it easier to get in and out if the doors stay open at whatever position they are in, instead of where the bolt is to open in the stay position. I love it. Would like to have mirrors that automatically adjust to the driver's eyes.

Fun vehicle to drive.

Given the kind and value of the vehicle, navigation system should be standard. Display need to be improved

I've been wanting to own this vehicle for over 3 years now. After all the safety issues and repair, I regret ever making this purchase due to the issues.

The seatbelt alarm sucks. When it dings I then try to put it on and it won't give it to me. I hate this feature to the point of not owning another BMW.

I wish it had an additional trip-meter

Software could be improved to make everything easier, e.g. mirrors fold in when engine turned off, parking assist turns on when speed falls below 5 mph, etc. Have more configuration options in iDrive (e.g. option to automatically fold door mirrors when ignition switched off)

I love the car but I do wish the front seats folded down as in a coupe to enable putting items such as a grocery bag behind the seat, I have had other roadsters where the seat will fold down. Also the technology in this car seems to lag behind other models, I don't even have a lighted mirror on the visor
