2016 Audi allroad

The biggest change for the 2016 Audi allroad is a simpler two-trim lineup: Audi dropped the Prestige model, leaving Premium and Premium Plus. Otherwise, this is a light-update year, with a three-spoke leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel becoming standard across the range.

About the 2016 Audi allroad

B8.5-era U.S. allroad return generation (2013-2016), final model year before the all-new B9-based 2017 A4 allroad.

Audi positioned the allroad as a more adventurous alternative to a compact luxury SUV: a wagon with extra ground clearance, standard quattro all-wheel drive, useful cargo space, and a more car-like feel on the road. The appeal was not serious trail work, but everyday versatility for snow, gravel roads, and family hauling without giving up Audi cabin quality, tidy size, and wagon handling.

Audi positioned the Premium as the essential raised luxury wagon, with standard all-wheel drive, a panoramic sunroof, leather seating, and a power tailgate. Premium Plus became the top trim and added a more polished set of everyday features, including keyless access, heated front seats with driver memory, and power-folding mirrors.

“A perfect island car. Works as a pickup and as a great sedan. It is comfortable. Easy to wash and maintain. This is the 12th Audi we have bought.”

“This is the first Audi we have driven. We wanted a station wagon to get a sedan like drive. The performance has been better then we expected and the feeling of oneness with the car is immediate. Front seat comfort, length, and adjustability was important and this car provides it very well; terrific for long distance driving. If Audi keeps up their quality they have a customer for life!”
