2016 Acura RDX

Great value for the cost. This is my second like model, but, with new factory upgrades that are welcomed. Wife loves driving it. Sound system is excellent. Seats could be somewhat softer and supportive in all areas. Leather could be a little softer. Strong engine, yet great fuel economy. Prefer normally aspirated V6s like I have, with power and torque. Previous Acura owner and know the brand. I like quality for a reasonable price. Resale value is important and the Honda/Acura brand has higher than average resale values.

Love my Acura RDX. Perfect blend of luxury and ride.

Wish it had heated steering wheel. Ventilated seats aren't that great. Expected more from them after experiencing them in other cars. Love the back up camera, gives a wide-angle to see what is behind you. Comes in extra handy when backing out of a parking spot. Wish the parking sensors had more of a range for when pulling into a garage or parking spot. They seem to go from barely beeping to solid beep in a very short distance. When I tried to adjust this, it also seemed to change distance for when driving and sensing the vehicle in front of me. I didn't like that. Pick up is fantastic! Very smooth ride. Would have liked chargers accessible for back seat riders. Cup holders seem too loose. Would prefer windshield wipers to continue to completely down position when car is turned off regardless of where they are at the time. Would be nice for the radio to stay on after car is turned off until door is opened. Would also like to be able to lock the car at the driver's door handle before all doors are closed. It's a pain to sometimes have to wait for everyone to close their doors before I can lock the car. Since it's a keyless driving car, I have my keys buried in my purse, not convenient to take out for locking. I was surprised that it did not come with a heated steering wheel since it seems to have every other option possible. I wish the bumper sensors had a larger range. When I tried to change it, it also adjusted the sensitivity when driving to how close I am to the car in front of me before the BRAKE light came on. Currently when parking, the front sensor goes from quick beep to solid beep over an extremely short distance.

The electronics are buggy on the early 2016 RDX. Periodically, the radio presets list the wrong stations, however, when the button is pressed, the correct station is tuned (even though the WRONG station is indicated). Very annoying, but not a deal-breaker since I still get the right station. Cruise control is crude compared to other brands/models.

I am still getting used to vehicle. Have trouble trying to program Navigation. cannot close air vent on driver's right side as he faces steering wheel. Very annoying, especially when traveling with another person. Since I tend to be colder than most people, when I am driving I would like to close the vent so the other person can remain comfortable at a normal temperature.

Would be great if there were electric outlets in the second row so passengers could charge their devices as well.

Brakes are squeaky, needs power telescoping steering wheel, rear view camera delay is annoying, needs auto-folding side mirrors - I have hit my garage door twice.

My biggest complaint about this vehicle is the lack of shading at the top of the windshield.

In some ways my wife and I chose an Acura over the Lexus because while it is a luxury car, it does not carry a sense of ostentation that I think a Lexus has.

I don't feel comfortable with tires that cannot be filled with air!
