Have had several Beetles, 1949, 1959, 1963, looked earlier for a beetle but they didn't have turbo.

The nostalgia felt for the Beetle is hard to quantify. It was my first car. Bright orange, with a manual transmission, and very visible when I stalled it learning to drive.

I am disappointed that the convertible leaks where the top meets the body of the car. I was told that VW has been having trouble with that spot. With leaks present, I will not be able to go to an automatic car wash.

Really like the lower look of the new bugs compared to earlier (new beetle)... more ''356-like'' in appearance. Also enjoy the dash is closer to the driver and doesn't have that long (previous/earlier years) flat area out to bottom of windshield
