Would like to reduce the volume of the back-up beep. I am very happy with my Prius so far. It performs as I expected and is comfortable to drive. The mileage around town is great.

The car is so low that I often scrape the pavement when driving out of my driveway.

Toyota needs to get rid of the faux/fake leather in the Prius as well as the Camry. I would have purchased an upper level Prius -- a 4 or 5 if it had REAL leather, but I thought it was ridiculous to pay extra for fake leather. The car's interior isn't crucial to me, but all of my other vehicles have had real leather. To only offer fake leather on the up-scale model is a huge mistake. Sure, offer "vegan" leather on a mid-model if Toyota thinks there is a market for it, but do not have fake leather on the upper ends of models.

2015 Toyota Prius
The 2015 Toyota Prius generally lacks the ease of operation and logical layout that kept me loyal to Toyota for the past 20+ years.

The manuals cover too many different available options (ex: radio or nav systems) making it difficult to figure out which instructions apply to your vehicle. There is no reason that vehicles that cover the exact radio or nav system you have aren't available online as a PDF.

Toyota could take a lesson from MINI Cooper and VW about placement of the seat heating controls. In the 2015 PRIUS the ON/OFF buttons are flat against the lower level under the dash and have only one option; either heat is on full blast or off. To find the control requires taking your eyes off the road, if you are driving, and considerable reach from both the driver's and passenger sides. In the MINI and VW, heat controls are raised buttons at easy reach between the front seats. Push them once for high, push them again for low or push a 3rd time for OFF. Lights illuminate which setting they are on so heat levels can be adjusted. You can also find them with a gloved hand, in the dark without ever taking your eyes off the road.
