Love the car. Main complaints are: 1. Not getting advertised mileage... True foe many cars except Prius. 2. Sun roof noisy when open and driving.

Drove in first big snowstorm (4 inches on roads) and many cars were abandoned - loved the security and sure-footed feeling of the AWD.

Why is Subaru back-ordered on my protective side moldings! Told it was a nationwide problem and it's been about 2 months and counting! This is very POOR!!

I love this vehicle. Builds up confident driving. I am not able to understand why the DVD rear-seat entertainment was taken off the new model and so is the option to get inbuilt wifi modem.

Great car. It has a very mediocre reputation and status. I had to bite my lip to buy it even though I like it a lot. Several things are missing-----most importantly, lighted volume and tuning radio dials. The radio is tough to tune for the passenger. There really should be an option for voice automated commands for phone and GPS. This is really a defect in a car like this!! Otherwise this car is as good as luxury cars costing $20,000 more.

There are a few things I would incorporate or change for Subaru outback 2016. My primary disappointment was that the passenger's seat doesn't have controls for height position. I am very tall and I would have liked to have lowered the seat for more visibility without having to recline the seat! Driver's height adjustment also needs a lower position. Surprisingly enough, this issue almost made me choose the Volkswagen SportWagen instead of the Subaru Outback. I had been vacillating back and forth between the two for quite a few months before settling on the outback. While the front seats are comfortable enough, they could also have a better wrap-around feel. I would also increase the size of the temperature and clock displays - very difficult to see when the panel is on. Also as my husband says the engine sounds like a "gerbil" when accelerating quickly from a stop. It is a bit distracting and cumbersome. A USB outlet for back seat would be great too. All in all though, we love it so far.

HomeLink should be lighted. Cup holders should hold cups.

Would like to see the following options available (1) heated steering wheel, (2) automatic folding side mirrors, (3) continuous variable front seat heaters, (4) automatic water sensing wiper system, (5) and steering wheel tilt/position tie to seat options one and two operators. Also, more engine power with the current fuel economies.
