So far I am extremely happy with my new vehicle. It is fun to drive and has a feeling of durability and sturdiness. Wind noise and outside disturbances are kept to a minimum. Acceleration is adequate and driveability is excellent. Rear power hatchback could operate more quickly. Also height set button for rear hatchback should be on bottom row and actual hatchback button should be on top row since you will be using it more often than height adjustment. Overall I am extremely pleased with my purchase and am looking forward to many years of trouble-free driving. I am extremely pleased with my 2015 Subaru Forester. It is all I expected and performs admirably. It is a great value for the price and has an extremely reliable reputation. Two suggestions for the company: the rear hatchback could open more quickly and the interior controls for the hatchback should be reversed. The open button should be on top and the height setting should be on the bottom.

I love my new Forrester! I have been driving a Subaru since 1980, this is the best one yet! I bought my first Subaru new in 1980. I have bought only Subarus since. Good quality, trouble free. Very reliable.

I love EyeSight. Every car should have it. I still use my Garmin GPS because I can't see the screen of the navigation system. I also have had difficulty programming it so I can't always rely on it when I use it. I wish the seat warmer control wasn't so low. If I need to change it while driving I have to totally take my eyes off the road. This winter it's been great but could be more user friendly.

Where the moonroof opens there is a band (metal?) that crosses from side to side in the front that rattles sometimes when I have the moonroof cover off.

I love my new Subaru. I have a problem that when I back up, then put the gear in forward, it takes 3-4 seconds before the car engages and moves forward. The engine races until I take my foot off the gas and let it go into gear. Is this normal or should I take it in. My friend, who bought her car a day before me says her Subaru Forester does the same. The auto-dimming mirror turns on automatically whenever I turn the car on. I always turn it off. I do not like the dimming at night. Is there any way to only turn this feature only when I need it?

The armrests on the doors and center console need thicker padding. They are fine for short drives, but after an hour or so, they are not very comfortable at all because they are too hard. The center console armrests need to be longer as well, they are too far back. The radio needs to be updated to be more in line with other vehicles that Subaru sells. The interior refinements are outdated compared to the other vehicles, yet this vehicle costs the same or more. The L.E.D. lighting is useless. It looks fine at night when the headlights are on, but they are unnecessary. If the L.E.D.s were used as the daytime running lights I would love them. They would also need to be made brighter if they are used the daytime running lights.

Subaru needs to pay attention to small details. SUCH AS NO ILLUMINATION OF THE WINDOW CONTROLS SO YOU CAN SEE THEM AT NIGHT AND NO LIGHT IN THE GLOVE BOX.

2015 2.5i Forester Manual. Fuel gauge is not accurate... will fill up the tank and within a few miles Forester will show that tank is approx 1/8 empty... same result with different pumps and station. 2. VDC can not be fully disabled this is highly annoying (as it was sold to me as it could be disabled)... should be able to disable just like hill assist... for off road & closed courses should be able to disable fully. 3. Front Seats - drivers... lumbar suppose was killing my back at the lowest setting.. had to alter the cable with spacers to make comfortable.. the seat was intolerable after a 20 min drive. 4. Front Seat - pass - no height adjustment... 5. Not really a problem but a note... trunk could open a little more.. have hit my head more than once (I am 5''10"")

There are several very annoying features in my new vehicle. The center storage has a tray that must be removed to access underneath. There was a coin holder in my 2004 Forester that is now where the fuses are. And to lock all the doors the button presses up to lock and down to unlock, that is backwards to me. Lastly my 10 year old Forester had auto-adjusting for heat and cooling. I would think an upgraded vehicle would add features, not remove any.

This 2014 Forester, Turbo is awesome. However, Subaru needs to install rear interior lights in the cargo area. Also, the fog lights actually do nothing for the driver. During foggy days, the headlights overpower the fog lights. This could be a positional thing but the fog lights are useless. One more thing, I still haven't figured out the defrost, heating system. It's confusing. I have not owned this vehicle long enough to determine the mileage. It appears as though I will not achieve the stated. When warming up the vehicle in the morning, it is loud and takes a very long time for the blue light to go out. Is this normal?
