About the 2015 Lincoln MKC

1st generation, first year

Lincoln positioned the MKC as a small luxury SUV for shoppers who wanted premium comfort and technology in a more city-friendly size. The big themes were quietness, a warm and carefully finished cabin, easy everyday luxury features, and turbo power without moving up to a larger vehicle. Compared with many rivals, Lincoln leaned less on a sporty image and more on calm ride quality, welcoming design, and an upscale interior atmosphere.

Lincoln positioned the MKC as a quiet, polished small SUV, even in base form, with heated power front seats, dual-zone climate control, and welcome lighting. Black Label focused on a richer cabin, using Venetian leather, an Alcantara headliner, designer wood trim, and unique 19-inch wheels.

“I love my new Lincoln MKC! The only option I didn't get to purchase on the spot, was the power lift gate. When getting older, a near must. The only comment I have for Ford/Lincoln is to work on the reliability of "Sync". Half the time it does not work. Disappointing...”
