2015 Land Rover LR4

Love it. Would love remote start too (I live in Wisconsin and winters suck).

Vehicle is great; really love the ride and think it's a perfect size for a family of 5. Some requests: remote start function, better/more apps for incontrol apps (mostly useless to me as it is), more of an all-terrain tire option as well as 18" wheel offering, easily accessible tow hooks front and rear. Also, improve response of touchscreen system (usually a 1 or 2 second delay when pressing buttons) as well as allow the right side multifunction button on steering wheel allow selections on the Nav screen. Also, would like a simple switch to disable all interior overhead lighting (this would be useful for camping or when you don't want to ruin night vision).

Overall, the vehicle is excellent. The only thing I'd encourage Land Rover to update is a permanent shut-off feature for the engine start-stop eco option. Sometimes it's useful not to need to worry about it.

Basically love the car. I'm EXTREMELY disappointed in the way the rear seats fold down. I'm rather tall and with the rear seats down there is insufficient rearward travel for me to comfortably drive the vehicle. The front seats can't go all the way to the back of the track because the folded rear seats interfere. This is absolute stupidity on the part of the designers as is the huge gap between the folded seats and the rear cargo space. Really stupid and if I had noticed the issue before buying the car it could well have been a deal breaker. We drove our previous Land Rover Discovery with the rear seats folded about 99% of the time.

I still think you need to improve your search mode on the satellite radio. My wife's Mercedes allows her to scroll thru stations with a turn knob and flashes the Sirius station etc on the display rapidly---not the best out there at all currently but better than my last two Rovers.

We purchased an LR4 because of the overall usefulness of cabin. We travel in car with our dogs, and carry a lot of gear. Too many SUVs are either 7 seaters or very small. I really wanted a big 5 seat SUV. The way the LR4 seats fold is awesome, and the cabin height, width and length are perfect for us.

The check engine light keeps going on.

The doors are hard to shut... must slam them to get them to close... too much techno gadgets, the panels are hard to read... I wear reading glasses, but can't drive with them, so I really can't see what is on the panel clearly. Also, I think the vehicle should come standard with the tow package vs an add on. A vehicle like this should come with towing capabilities you don't have to pay an arm and a leg for extra... was shocked at how much I had to pay to be able to tow behind it. Also, I think the symbols on the dashboard are too small and hard to read without my reading glasses which I can't wear while I am driving.

Fun to drive. Endearingly British. The stop/start system sucks. Always wanted an LR4. Clean, simple, classy design. Bought for my wife.

Great vehicle but technology has passed them buy on touch screen navigation
