We researched about a dozen vehicles, test drove six or seven, chose the LR Disco Sport, and haven't regretted that choice one bit. While long-term dependability is yet to be determined, our first four months of ownership have been very satisfying!

I have not had the chance to drive my new Discovery much but I am very excited to explore what is new.

Love the vehicle overall. 3 minor issues wish was different: - rear tailgate could open higher to prevent hitting head - transmission upward shift leads to surge while accelerating - Sirius radio displays are inconsistent and every once and a while the whole radio disappears for short spells.

My radio keeps going out and coming back on. They can't find out why but it concerns me with a new vehicle.

Still don't like the accelerator feature. Should be an opt in and not opt out option. Gas pedal kind of touchy. Acceleration needs to be smoother. Push down on pedal and turbo kicks in and car blasts! Back up sensor too touchy, always turn it off because it alarms when I am not close to any objects. Other than those issues, I really love the vehicle. It is a significant improvement over the LR2 that I owned. Also suggestion on logo. I think the Land Rover logo brand should be more prominent on the front of the vehicle and the Discovery logo should have less emphasis. Love this vehicle. It is a great combination of style and comfort. The interior is quite roomy and a major step forward compared to the LR-2. The only feature that I do not care for is the accelerator control that makes it feel like the car stalls when sitting at a light. This has got to go. It should stay in the off position and the driver should be able to "opt-in" and not "opt-out" as it is currently configured. My ONLY dislike. Other than that this car is a gem!

The auto start-stop feature should not be defaulted on by the system every time the vehicle is restarted if the driver has previously turned it off. The Auto start-stop feature should also be defaulted off by the system while towing. The vision assist package camera view quick access control needs a software/programming refinement to include all the available camera views from the quick access dash button. The most utilized camera view selections for parking (in the mirrors) can only be accessed through a slow touch screen control which entails multiple pop-up touch screen windows.

I wish the cruise control would hold the speed on a downhill slope. It can increase speed as much as 10mph over the set speed.
