2015 Honda Odyssey

Vehicle is pleasurable, with the exception of the stereo. Probably the worst SOUNDING audio system I have ever experienced in an automobile. The sound system in my previous vehicle (2012 CHRYSLER TOWN AND COUNTRY) had a much better speaker system that was head and shoulders above the HONDA. Also, HONDA could improve upon the AM-FM radio reception. The HD RADIO option is a nice optional touch.

I am very delighted to experience the first Honda product - Odyssey, and I love every minute of driving it so far. Breaking the tradition from Toyota is hard, but I am glad I made the right decision.

Am very happy with my 2015 Odessey. Sold my 2011 to my son who is also happy with his. We also have a 2007 which my husband uses for all his gardening and towing. I've had many cars through all my years and so far Honda wins. I liked my 2011 and thought it would be a good vehicle for my son and family. He wanted it also. He had a 2010 Odyssey but the 2011 had more perks and less miles. So, I decided to buy a new one and let him buy the 2011. I am still getting used to some of the features on my 2015. I did drive it cross country with no problems. We have not had problems with our Hondas and do not expect to have any problems with the new one.

The back view of the Odyssey is too plain. It would be great to have the options, at least for Touring or Touring Elite, to choose a few chrome pieces as on some of the new Accord sedans.

I believe this car engine will provide peace of mind, but the craftsmanship really needs to be improved! For expensive car like this, all parts of key should be symmetrical, all seals sealing, all dashboard computers able to connect latest technologies of should be easy to update! Like navigation, I want to have speed I am driving on. I want to pause song from CD, get text message alert from phone which is year older than vehicle, able to download MP3 to my built-in HD. Moving faster forward, that what is Honda missing!

My 6th Odyssey gave me on average 25+ MPG - this 2015 stays around 23.0 and no more.

1st criteria is head room because on arthritis in my neck and back... the 2015 has less than my 2003 Honda Odyssey. 2nd is safety... crash tests and rearview camera. 3rd is trade-in value. The 2015 Honda Odyssey LX was chosen vs EX due to a number of options that I feel are too pricey for their value and repair cost... electronic side doors, entertainment system, leather (not practical in Florida), etc. However, I would like to see all safety items included in the basic model.

I wish fuel economy was better as we average 18 mpg in rural/noncity driving. In addition, the sound controls and speakers are awful. We have had two blown tires that are Michelin and rear sensors do not work. I wish there was an AWD option. I do like the reliability and engine and hopefully they will last a long time like Honda mowers. The visibility of the vehicle and cargo/seating flexibility is why we purchased this vehicle.

Key points in my decision to purchase Honda Odyssey Touring: New Grandchildren, elderly parents, need for more cargo space, need to lower monthly car payment, better gas mileage. The automobile must meet my needs.
