Overall experience was great. Wasn't expecting to purchase a brand new Honda Fit so quickly but I was able to get my hands on one.

2015 Honda Fit LX
I have been consistently impressed with Honda performance in the general price range I am interested and can afford ( 14000 -17000) and even more impressed with the general interior design. The 2015 Redesign of the Fit dressed every drawback that prevented me from considering the previous models. For me personally, the 2015 FIT is a perfect combination of 6 forward gear fun, outstanding interior design, and fuel economy in the consistently over 40 mpg range. I like that the feedback system in the car is training me to be a more fuel-efficient driver, and I now LIKE the moderately high engine noise as I feel more connected to the car than ever. I am not a driving nut, but ripping around in my little fit makes me feel good every day.

2015 Honda Fit EX
The driver's door armrest needs padding. The paint quality is lacking. Swirl marks, protective tape residue. The rear fascia paint does not match the adjacent body panel color. The overall ride and handling makes me want my 2007 Fit back. The new one drives like a chevy midsize. The trip computer should have a lifetime fuel economy meter. The EX seating fabric has an extremely rough feel. Dislike. The touchscreen UX design needs refinement. Crude. The audio volume should have an actual knob. I am 6'' tall, of average build. I can't adjust the seat and steering wheel to be able to reach it, and see the speedo at the same time. The driver's seat needs to adjust back an additional 2" -3".

Vehicle is good overall. Touch screen needs some physical knobs for volume control and radio control.

2015 Honda Fit LX
I have always owned/preferred a manual transmission vehicle, and the gearing in the 2015 Honda Fit is rather strange. It is now a 6-speed but the top (6th) gear is no higher than the old 5th was, say the reviews. There are simply more gears, closer together. This slows down the car's acceleration considerably because it requires several rapid gear changes when taking off from a standing start.

My Honda Fit is like the Tardis, it's bigger on the inside than the outside. It fits all my paintings and art materials and makes it easy to transport my materials. The flip-up back seats are the key to being able to transport so much.

The ride is too bumpy in the car. It hits every little bump in the road. I have had some back problems with it. I am now using a pillow on the seat to try to help, but I'm very disappointed with the LACK of smoothness in the ride. Perhaps it has to do with the springs in the car or lack of stuffing in the seats.
